Advanced+ level all-mountain boarder
Alex's rating of this snowboard:
Considering his boarders profile:
"Which board has the highest limits on every terrain? Push and enjoy it to the max everywhere. Adrenaline comes from sharp long carves till blinding amounts of fresh snow in the woods. All-mountain snowboards should be able to handle it all."
My favourite all-mountain snowboards:
1. Nitro Pantera
2. Amplid UNW8
3. Capita Supernova

Versatility and comfort
The Amplid Paradigma is a typical allrounder to me. No extremes, but comfort written all over it. And with the supply of comfort in any kind of snow, groomer or powder, the Paradigma snowboard will please a lot of riders. Up to an advanced level, I estimate, boarders will have enough room for joy and improvement. On groomers the Paradigma is easy to turn for short carving. The Hybrid V shape makes that you'll get it easy on the edge after turn initiation. The playfulness gives it the maneuverability for squeezing through bumps and trails. Add the rocker tip and tail for your comfortable powder snow ride and the suitability for types of snow terrain is complete. Perfect with changing conditions during a week holiday. The Paradigma is a good board, but personally comfort and forgivingness are not the most important factors in a board for me. Therefor I give it 3 stars.
Camber and rocker
With in mind that not every boarder wants to push his board or himself to the limits all day long, the Amplid Paradigma will fit a lot of boarders perfectly. If you just wanna take a step back from extreme speed and long carving turns, this all-mountain board is a lot of fun. Playful and forgiving with the combination of camber under the feet, flat in the middle and rocker ends. The shape of the Paradigma will let you surf powder at easy. In other words, play all over the mountain with this Amplid board. If you think the limits of the Paradigma aren't enough for you, you might want to consider the Amplid UNW8.
Amplid about the Paradigma
"Raring to go with a new shape concept for the 16/17 season, the Paradigma in its latest incarnation is a freestyle snowboard shaped and constructed for all-mountain dominance. Its directional twin shape gives it a true-twin feel on groomed and hard-pack snow. In powder and mixed snow conditions the Paradigma’s slightly longer and fuller nose shape and a touch of early rise rocker improve floatation and aid stability. At the back foot an extra pair of inserts enables a more set-back stance to help tackle the really deep days.
The Paradigma’s burly Omni Core and cleverly positioned basalt and carbon reinforcement give it the kahunas to charge the scariest lines and remain cool, calm and collected. If it’s speed you’re after, the new Sintered 7 base won’t slow you down. The Paradigma is the board for anybody that is ready to take their riding to the next level.", says Amplid. Certainly all-mountain, make sure it fits your level and ambitions.
Ride Berzerker: also a comfort snowboard on all terrain.
Amplid UNW8: more speed, more rebound, very good edge hold, higher level board.
Arbor Roundhouse: easy to handle as well, good off-piste performance.
