Playful race ski
This Rossignol Hero Elite LT Ti (176) ski wants to go fast and be always and totally put on the edges. As a giant slalom ski the Hero Elite LT Ti is friendly in this category, but will also ask for a good technical skill. For me it is not very hard to do short turns and I could fairly easy push it through the radius when carving. The edge grip is really good and this ski is stable at high speed. Conclusion, the Rossignol Hero Elite LT Ti is a fast ski and absolutely fine for carving on groomers. And although there are more extreme skis in this department, it is still at the top end of recreational skis.
Not extreme enough for me
I had fun with the Rossignol Hero Elite LT Ti ski, but wouldn't ride this ski very often. It is a good ski that's for sure but a little bit too easy for me. The thing I really liked was the stability of a giant slalom and the feeling of a slalom ski. Overall the four stars I rate this ski are really worth it. If you are not skiing many times a year, but you want a sportive ski, I think you would like it.
