Reviewer Heyman

"Edge grip and accelleration are crucial elements for a slalom ski. Edge grip to challenge you each time to turn sharper and go almost horizontal through the turn. Accellaration to shoot you into the next turn until your legs burn."

Agile and playful slalom ski

The Blizzard SRC Racing is a full camber slalom ski. No little tip rocker as so many slalom skis nowadays. Just one long camber arc from tip to tail, which delivers a huge amount of rebound out of the turns. And that means you get catapulted out of a turn into the next one. Beautiful! The Blizzars SRC is highly maneuverable, super agile and above all as playful as you could wish for. Add to that superb edge grip and just enough flexibility to change the ski's radius by applying more or less power and you have all the ingredients of a super fun slalom ski. My kind of slalom ski, so a 5 star rating is well deserved.

So much fun!

Skiing the Blizzard SRC makes everything possible. Get into a super tight carve turn almost horizontally, then switch edges as fast as a swallow flies, then shoot up a ridge, turn 1800 and come down like thunder and lightning all in a moment's notice. Switch for a while to relaxed sliding turns to get some energy back into your burning legs and start over. The whole piste is one big playground!

Blizzard about the SRC Racing

"The ultimate Beer League or Masters race ski with a SL feel, this ski will allow you to crush your closest rival every Wednesday night. World Cup performance with beer league ease. A tighter turning radius and a wider footprint make these skis ideal for weekend carving and night racing.", says Blizzard.
