"I like to ski comfortably on piste, but the ski's stability is important. After 3 decades of skiing I am experienced and my technique is fine. I go faster than average, but I don't push it to the limit. And I like a ski that looks cool."
The Atomic Redster Edge SL is a great ski. The ski is really easy to edge and both long and shorter turns are fun! It’s less stiff and easier to handle than the Atomic Redster Doubledeck GS, which is off-course a giant slalom ski. Basically, the SL factor for making shorter turns makes it an available ski for even intermediate skiers. Very nice to play around with all day on piste as the edge grip is fantastic. A 4 star ski for me.
All day is nice but needs effort
Thanks to the (limited) rocker the ski is also comfy without losing much of its stiffness. On the ski it says ‘piste rocker’, but pointing that out is a bit overdone. The Atomic Redster Edge SL is a piste racer with just enough comfort to make it through the day.
Atomic about the Redster Edge SL
"The Atomic Redster Edge SL is the perfect Slalom ski for sporty skiers. Featuring an improved race-oriented XT 12 binding for enhanced performance, the Redster Edge SL is super easy to handle. Its Race Rocker with a slight early rise and a pronounced camber delivers sensational grip without unwanted edge-catching. Your power is transferred directly to the slope thanks to two titanium layers that increase stiffness in the right places. And the full sidewall runs the length of the ski for precise steering. Overall a top piste performer.", says Atomic. The faster you go, the more exciting this ski gets. The Atomic Redster Edge SL is also a very responsive ski which is easy to control and to handle.
