Advanced+ level all-mountain skier Heyman's rating of this ski:
Considering his skiers profile:
"A good frontside all-mountain ski is an agressive carver to lay trenches on the groomers and should also be able to handle bumps, skied of pistes and up to 10cm of fresh snow. A combination of a sportive character and comfort."
My favourite frontside
1. Stöckli Laser AX
2. Elan Amphibio 16 Ti2
3. Salomon X-Drive 8.0 FS

Inrtermediate skiers dream ski
When I tested the Rossignol Experience 80 circumstances were not brilliant, A clear view, but awkward skied off slopes. And what a wonderful joy it was to ski the Experience 80 on this hard, bumpy and icy terrain. Tons of edge grip resulting in endless control. Quite flexible too, which allows you to go over this bumpy terrain at immense speed, where stiffer skis will not adapt and shoot you off at some point. And when the terrain gets smoother, you can really dig into these wonderful wide turns, pushing harder and going almost horizontal. For intermediate skiers this is the perfect mix of forgivingness and sharp skiing.
Lightweight and maneuverable
The weight reduction, especially in the tip (which you can even see in the see through honeycomb tip construction), makes for effortless turn initiation and a highly playful character. Perfect for intermediates. But a bit too unpredictable for advanced skiers, who might want a more damp and stable ski to cope with the greater force they will apply on the skis. To put it in car terms: not enough road holding in a straight line. And the off-chance that in the middle of a turn one ski might suddenly decide to go the other way. So a 5 star intermediate ski and a 3 star advanced+ ski.
