Advanced all-mountain skier
Jocelyn's rating of this ski:
Considering her skiers profile:
"I like my ski to be comfortable and handling bumps and loose snow without effort. I don't go off-piste more than on the side of groomers. A typical all conditions on the piste skier with comfort and style as priorities."
My favourite all-mountain skis:
1. Armada TSTw
2. Head Total Joy
3. Nordica NRGy 90
To all my reviews
A job well done
This review is on the Head Total Joy, and it starts with WOW!!!! This is a 5 star ski which excels on piste. Head, this is a job well done!
The Head Total joy is an allround piste ski for the more advanced skiing ladies. It is made for women who have a more dynamic skiing style, who want to make shorter turns and want to be in control in a playful manner all the time. The Head Total Joy gives all of this. So Ladies, on your to-do list for this winter, there are two pairs of piste skis, which you should try at least. These are the Head Total Joy and the Fischer RC4 Superior Pro.
Design & Performance
Everything of the Head total Joy deserves 5 stars. From design to performance, everything is about perfect. One thing as a remark is that Head says that the Total Joy is an all-mountain ski, but I see it more as an allround piste ski. Okay, the Head Total Joy doesn’t dip too quickly when you go off-piste, but the best performance of the ski is by far delivered on the piste. It is a very versatile ski, which is easy to control on every speed and on every piste condition. The Head Total Joy just makes sure that you can turn all the time, everywhere and every radius. Compared to the Head Super Joy, the Total Joy has more weight. The Total Joy is made for the more advanced and fitter skiing ladies.
If it wasn't for testing different skis all the time, I would get a pair of Head Total Joy skis to enjoy a holiday week without a doubt.
Head about the Total Joy
"The featherweight all-mountain Total Joy is a hardpack and powder shredder for confident women who rip. Armed with a versatile all-terrain rockered nose and reactive underfoot camber, a tight turning 13.6 radius, the lightness and response of the miracle material Graphene and the dampening of Koroyd this is a do-it-all high performance ski with a bent for powder. Also equipped with the lightness, control and balance of our women’s specific LIBRA Architecture the only limits this ski knows are those imposed on it.", says Head. I just love to chill with these skis!
