Reviewer DellaSausa

"I ski at high speed, so stability is vital. As is powder output for I dart off-piste all the time. Versatility is all important for an all-mountain ski, with an emphasis on powder (backside) for me. But I still like them to be stiff, not flexible."

Very playful and easy cruise ski

The Atomic Vantage Panic is a supple and very playful all-mountain ski for the intermediate and advanced skier. You can make very easily midlong and long carve turns on the edges. It’s also possible to make midlong sliding turns. This ski is great for playing around on piste and next to the piste. The dampening of the Panic is brilliant. The Panic gives you control on every terrain. In fresh snow on groomed, but also on bumpy pistes and even in the slush snow.

Bumpy and slush

It’s also really fun skiing downhill on high speed on a bumpy piste and still being in control! And even in the slush snow you can speed up! That’s really cool! For deep powder I prefer a wider ski. Through the twin tips you can easily turn around on the piste. And that’s fun too. So the Panic is for me a very playfull and easy cruise ski with the possibility to speed up on every terrain.

Atomic about the Vantage Panic

"If you like to ski the piste but love fresh powder when it’s there, you’ll love the Atomic Vantage Panic. It comes with our unique Carbon Backbone construction that is super lightweight and stable. It has a versatile 87mm waist, coupled with an All Mountain Rocker in tip and tail. So it’s great on piste, but still with plenty of floatation when you head off the side. The Step Down Sidewall and Woodcore construction absorbs shocks for a smoother ride while also ensuring edge grip on hard and mixed snow. Pick your binding and go anywhere you want to go." says Atomic. I agree! With the Panic I had control easily on any terrain, like a bumpy piste, a slush piste, and also a groomed piste, And all with hardly any effort.
