Reviewer Alex

"I like rocker for easy turning and float off-piste. Tip vibration doesn't bother me at all. Of course versatility is a condition for a quality all-mountain ski. It depends on snow conditions whether I prefer frontside skis."

Excellent in soft snow and crud

The Crimson Ti is the widest of the Atomic Nomad all-mountain ski series with 86mm waist. In chopped up terrain the Crimson Ti runs like the devil. It gives so much confidence by the way it listens to steering, that any piste seems skiable at any speed. This all-mountain ski forgives and lets you ride it on the edge without getting nervous at the same time. I had a fantastic time on the Crimson Ti because of its versatility.

Adjustable turns and smooth

With 15% Rocker in the tip, the Crimson Ti is able to handle soft snow. I wouldn't like to take it in the deep powder though. The stifness of the ski in total makes it a very good all-mountain ski as long as there is a bottom. What I also like in this ski is the adjustability during turns. Easy to switch from carving to sliding and it has good dampening. All together it makes it a comfortable fast ski in the crud too. Since 2014 with the ARC binding on the Atomic Nomad and Nomad S series, you will feel how smooth your turns will be. From initiation till switch to the next turn. The ski will bow evenly, also under the binding, and you feel it.

Atomic about Nomad Crimson Ti

"The most progressive and widest Nomad for a powerful ride on and side piste.", according to Atomic. I agree. Expert skiers might not have enough challenge in the Crimson Ti because it offers a lot of comfort too.
