Ski review Salomon Enduro XT 800
Easy and comfortable all-mountain ski
The Salomon Enduro XT 800 is a very easy to carve all-mountain ski which likes to stay on piste. Longer turns are its favorite, but with a little bit extra effort shorter turns aren’t any problem. Although the tail of this ski looks more like a twintip, it’s easy to steer pushing the back end of the ski through the snow. The rocker helps to ski bumps comfortable. Personally I miss the dynamics, the bite, the emotion. Good comfy ski, for me 3 stars.

Versatility is not good for everybody
Its versatility is, for me, maybe also its weakness. The Salomon Enduro XT 800 can be steered razorsharp, solid on its edge but when you do not put any energy in this ski, it’s also okay… It won’t go out of control or do some crazy things like other more pure carve skis will do.
To my taste the Salomon Enduro XT 800 was a bit too soft and not very stable at high speed straight. Although it’s a comfortable, easy to steer ski, I do miss some excitement and fun with this ski. It’s not very challenging, but if you’re not looking for a challenge and just want to cruise down the slopes, maybe this is just the right ski for you!

The Atomic Nomad Blackeye Ti has more bite, character. Although the new Blackeye Ti ARC is a lot smoother. The Salomon BBR 9.0 has more rocker, which gives more powder quality. Same comfort on piste, better short turns.
