Ski review Salomon BBR Sunlite
Light weighted all-mountain women's ski
The Salomon BBR Sunlite (169cm) is a light weighted all-mountain womens ski. It is really simple to ski on the Sunlight. The Salomon BBR Sunlite is a flexible ski, which makes carving and turning quite easy. Due to this flexibility it looses its stability at higher speed levels. It’s really a ski made for carving.

What was the idea of Salomon designing the BBR Sunlite? Let’s use some bright red and some flowers? Let’s create a light and easy ski? That’s what women like?
To my opinion the Salomon BBR Sunlite was just too light and not stiff enough. Yes, you can carve really easy, but increasing speed means that the Salomon BBR Sunlite looses grip. And about the design? That’s my personal taste, but I didn’t like it.

Salomon about the BBR Sunlite
"The BBR is specifically shaped for women : lighter, more fun & new experiences. The BBR Sunlight's light weight construction, longboard tip and forgiving tail enable new skiing sensations and even more fun for women in every type of snow condition.”
It is true that the Salomon BBR Sunlite is absolutely shaped for women, due to it’s lightness and design. Perhaps I was not the right tester to test this ski, I missed the new experiences. The BBR is suited for beginning to intermediate skiing ladies. If you are more an advanced skiing lady, I would not advise this one.
