Advanced level giant slalom skier Heyman's rating of this ski:
Considering his skiers profile:
Full blooded race carver
The Rossignol Radical 9GS TI TPX is a full throttle carving machine. It is that very rigid kind of giant slalom ski that wants to be skied at high speed and full power. And if you do exactly that, the Rossignol 9GS performs really well. But this ski is serious business. Not too much playfulness here. And no room for mistakes either. All in all a very good giant slalom ski for the advanced and expert skier.

"The perfect giant slalom ski is all about edge grip and ultimate speed. When you lift your foot from the break and unleash the beast, it should accelerate with brutal force, leaving you struggling to keep up with it."
The technically highly skilled skier that searches for a great amount of speed, stability and precision in his ultimate giant slalom ski. Skiers who like their ski to be a bit forgiving, won't be happy skiing the Rossignol Radical 9GS. Because this is a very stiff ski, but the little tip rocker makes it skiable. So you can race down perfectly prepared pistes and a little bit rougher ones as well. But again, you better make no mistake.
Rossignol about the Radical 9GS TI TPX
According to Rossignol "the 9GS is a powerful, precise and perfectly balanced carving machine." I totally agree on all descriptions. The edge grip of the 9GS challenges you to take the next turn even harder. At whatever speed your skiing, this ski allways stays extremely stable. But make a mistake and you'll get punished immediately.
