Advanced+ level all-mountain skier Heyman's rating of this ski:
Considering his skiers profile:
en-US - * - 2839
"A true all-mountain ski is as good off-piste as it is on-piste. Stiff enough to remain stable at top speed, flexible enough for comfort in poor circumstances. It is essential that the perfect all-mountain ski performs well in all conditions."
The Nordica Fuel is a sharp carving all-mountain ski featuring an early rise front rocker. These characteristics are rarely found together in a ski. Usually a long rocker makes the ski easy to turn but unstable. But not the Nordica Fuel. This ski is as fast, versatile, stable and playful as you could only dream of.The Nordica Fuel has no weaknesses. You can race down the mountain making big carve turns. Or you could make short turns at moderate speed. Or fly over bumps and loose snow without noticing them. You'll understand why the Nordica Fuel gets my 5 star rating.
Intermediate, advanced, expert
This ski will turn without effort in any terrain. And it keeps on turning. At the end of a turn it just want to turn more. And all the while it doesn't drift nor vibrate. It always feels stable and in control. The Fuel is the bigger and much better version of the Nordica Avenger, which is the entry-level model. I think that intermediates will like the Nordica Fuel a lot better, because it is so easy to turn. And it will challenge the intermediate without being too difficult. They might enter the advanced level in no time.
Nordica about the Fuel
"Made for advance level skiers seeking a ski that is quick edge to edge on the hard pack and versatile in all snow conditions.", says Nordica. Yes, the Fuel is quick and versatile. But it's not only for advanced skiers. Intermediate and experts will love the Nordica Fuel as well.
