Advanced level skier
Mary T's rating of this ski:
Considering her skiers profile:
"I prefer a heavy damp ski, without much rebound. I place emphasis on control and style, no matter the conditions. My favorite memories are double diamond bumps runs with a foot of untracked!"
My favourite freeride skis:

To all my reviews
Surprising agility in the bumps!
Coming off of a 170 cm. Volkl Kiku, I am used to a damp, stable ski, and I prefer it. I was a little worried about the the shorter length, and stability of the Envy. I am 5'6" and 132 lbs. I skied the Envy in a 167 cm. One word....Fantastic! Smooth and stable through chunky crud. Maneuverability in the bumps - Fabulous. Made me feel like a little kid, so responsive. Lay them over on a groomer, and the classic camber grips with precision, and is quick edge to edge.
I am a graphic snob, and these get a A+. Negatives: limited size selection.
This ski is made for...
Who is this ski made for: the woman looking to venture off groomed terrain, and wants a ski that works in bumps, and can still look good on the way back to the lift.
The 2015-16 reinforces last years review. This time around I gave them a spin in firm to hard snow conditions. The edge hold is very impressive. Even firm bumps are no match for the new Envy, these skis make them easy! With stealth rocker tips, and a cambered mid section, the 2015-16 Envy carves and floats through any conditions. Constructed of bamboo, paulownia and poplar wood, this ski is Spunky! The Envy's torsional rigidity creates a stable ride both at speed and in moguls. For ladies that want to experience the whole mountain......this ski is for you.
I would recommend this ski for any level skier. Intermediates will find the light weight construction reduces fatigue, and advanced levels will blast through bumps and crud, while still enjoying a smooth carve turn, with good edge hold on groomers.
Liberty about the Envy
"AMAZING versatility from Stealth Rockered tips, now even lighter. A 105mm waist, and a solid-cambered mid-section means the Envy will carve and float you through any snow conditions. Torsionally stiff, but with easy turn initiation, the Envy will do it all", says Liberty.
Liberty Helix: similar performance
Völkl Kiku: similar carve, similar float, less edge hold, less bump performance.
