Ski review Atomic Coax
Medium deep powder freeride ski
The Atomic Coax is a versatile freeride ski that wants to be skied at high speed. Its stability is very good whether you ski off-piste or on-piste. But the real amazing thing is the way this ski carves on the piste. Obviously those are big carving turns, the Coax having a radius of aproximately 22m. So you have to go fast, but then you're able to really lean into the curve. And the Coax is quite fast from edge to egde considering its width.

The Atomic Coax is no full blooded freeride ski that is made for bottomless powder snow like the Salomon Rocker2 122 for example. But this ski is excellent in medium deep powder and chopped-up snow. At speed it just races over unprepaired terrain. But always in big wide turns. Turning shorter is difficult and obviously not the nature of the Coax.

Atomic about the Coax
"The Adaptive Rocker on the Coax ski provides awesome versatility, allows for precision control and incredible edge grip in mixed and harder snow." I agree on the versatility. The precision control is good, but the edge grip is not incredible but good.
